It can be applied to rusted metal after loose rust, scale, dirt and contamination have been removed. The surface should be inspected and prepared before treatment.
Is a primer required?
A separate primer is generally not required for standard oil-based rust-prevention applications on properly prepared metal.
How can the product be applied?
Professional spray equipment is recommended for efficient application. A brush or roller may also be used for selected surfaces and smaller areas.
