Questions
What is included in the starter set?
The set includes one professional compressed-air spray gun, four 1-litre cans of NHOU® Black and two 1-litre cans of NHOU® Clear.
Is an air compressor included?
No. A compatible air compressor and suitable air hose are required separately.
What is the difference between NHOU® Black and NHOU® Clear?
NHOU® Black leaves a black protective finish and is commonly selected for underbody, chassis and wheel-arch areas. NHOU® Clear provides transparent protection for cavities, seams and areas where the original appearance should remain visible.
Why are four Black and two Clear cans included?
Exposed underbody and chassis areas generally require more coating, while Clear is typically used in selected cavities, seams, doors and visible sections.
Are the 1L cans ready for the spray gun?
Yes. The included NHOU® coatings are supplied in metal cans intended for use with compatible professional rustproofing spray equipment.
Can NHOU® coatings be applied over existing rust?
They can be applied to suitable rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare each surface before application.
Is the set suitable for complete vehicle treatment?
The six-litre quantity may be suitable for substantial or complete vehicle treatment depending on vehicle size, condition, application method and required coating thickness.
Is the set suitable for beginners?

Application Guide
How it goes on
Inspect and plan
Identify the areas requiring black coating and the cavities or visible sections better suited to transparent protection.
Prepare the vehicle
Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination from the treatment areas.
Protect surrounding parts
Mask brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components, drive belts and other areas where an oil coating is unsuitable.
Prepare the equipment
Connect the spray gun to a suitable compressed-air supply and confirm that all fittings are secure.
Mix the coating
Shake or stir the selected NHOU® product thoroughly before application.
Apply NHOU® Clear
Treat cavities, seams, joints, doors and enclosed areas where transparent protection is preferred.
Apply NHOU® Black
Treat the underbody, chassis, wheel arches and exposed metal areas where a black finish is preferred.
Clean the equipment
Follow the spray-gun cleaning and maintenance instructions immediately after use.
Inspect regularly
Check treated surfaces periodically and renew the coating where wear or demanding operating conditions have reduced protection.
