Lift the wipers . Tilt the wipers away from the windshield by raising them to a vertical position. However, before removing the old wiper blades, you must protect the windshield from accidental contact with the bare wiper arm

Protect the windshield . Spread an old blanket or a piece of cardboard over the windshield to protect it from the wiper arm accidentally dropping back into place. After removing the blades, the wiper arm could accidentally snap back into position and damage the windshield!

Remove the old wiper blade To remove the wiper blade from the arm, spread the tip of the blade apart and, while pulling the wiper down, remove it from the adapter

Install the new wiper blade Installing a new wiper blade is very quick and easy. Simply flip the adapter over and slide it onto the wiper arm, then flip the adapter back and press the wiper blade upward. This maneuver will cause the wiper blade to snap into place on the wiper arm via the adapter. Press down until you hear a distinct click
