Why do you need the NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX?

The NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX Power Adapter supplies power to the dashcam (or other device) when the ignition is off (for example, in parking mode). The NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX protects the vehicle’s battery from complete discharge by monitoring its remaining runtime and voltage. The adapter automatically cuts off power to the dashcam when the battery voltage drops to a specified level or the user-set time elapses (whichever comes first). Additionally, the NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX protects your dashcam from power surges. Important: The NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX power controller may have different plug types and power connector configurations. Before purchasing, make sure the controller is compatible with your device.
