proof ABS housing Easy installation and connection RDZ-211 is a splitter/combiner designed for use in communal and individual RTV antenna installations. Its function is to split or combine two antenna signals. The RDZ-211 can be mounted in a splash
proof ABS enclosure, allowing it to be installed outdoors, e.g., on an antenna mast. To ensure proper operation of the equipment, special attention must be paid to its correct installation and connection. The device may be used in situations where the signal level is high enough that splitting it—and consequently reducing the level by 4 dB— will not cause the final level at the subscriber outlet to fall below 51 dBuV (the minimum required by the PN-EN 60728-1 standard).The device is especially recommended for situations where a “star” configuration—with cables from all outlets routed to a single apartment distribution box—is not feasible; that is, when antenna cables must be routed directly from the mast “on the building’s facade.”
