Questions

What is included in the set?
The set contains three 400ml NHOU® Clear aerosol cans and one reusable ergonomic comfort-grip spray handle.
Does the set require a compressor or spray gun?
No. The aerosol cans are ready for direct application, and the included handle provides trigger-style spray control without additional equipment.
What is the comfort-grip handle used for?
The handle improves grip and comfort while allowing the aerosol valve to be operated using a trigger rather than direct finger pressure.
Can the handle be reused?
Yes. Remove the handle carefully after use and retain it for future compatible aerosol cans.
Does NHOU® Clear change the appearance of the surface?
NHOU® Clear provides transparent protection and is intended for areas where the original colour and appearance should remain visible.
Can NHOU® Clear Spray be applied over existing rust?
It can be applied to lightly rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare the surface before application.
What is the three-can set best suited for?
It is suitable for several treatment areas, repeat maintenance, larger touch-up work or users who require more product than a single aerosol can provides.
Does the coating require maintenance?
Treated surfaces should be inspected periodically and the coating renewed where wear, washing or demanding operating conditions have reduced protection.

Application Guide

How it goes on

Step 1 of 7

Prepare the surface

Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination.

Step 2 of 7

Shake thoroughly

Shake the aerosol can well before use and periodically during application.

Step 3 of 7

Attach the handle

Secure the comfort-grip handle to the aerosol can and check that the trigger correctly operates the spray valve.

Step 4 of 7

Spray evenly

Hold the can approximately 15–20 cm from the surface and apply using smooth, overlapping passes.

Step 5 of 7

Treat critical areas

Pay particular attention to accessible cavities, seams, joints, overlaps and corrosion-prone sections.

Step 6 of 7

Protect surrounding parts

Avoid overspray on brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components and other areas where an oil coating is unsuitable.

Step 7 of 7

Inspect regularly

Check treated surfaces as part of the normal maintenance schedule and reapply where required.
