The device is aimed at people conducting various types of evidence-based noise tests. The SBS-SM-130C meter meets the full requirements of EC61672 Class 2 Standard, allows for maximum and minimum sound level readings and stores up to 262 100 measurements in memory.

You can easily install the device on a tripod and take it with you in the field. USB cable allows you to export readings to your computer for archiving and reporting, and headphone jack 3.5mm connect meter to frequency analyzer, FFT analyzer or other measuring equipment.
The cover mounted in the sound meter reduces the impact of wind and air movement on the microphone, protects it from damage and prevents the ingress of pollen and other impurities. The Steinberg Systems product has a built-in sound level alarm, a screw battery compartment cover and an automatic shutdown option that saves battery life. The sonometer allows for noise testing both in rooms and offices (A-filter), as well as in the case of sound produced by machines (C-filter).
