Questions

What is included in the master box?
The master box contains six 1-litre metal cans of NHOU® Black Rust Prevention Oil Coating.
What is the total product volume?
The total nominal volume is six litres.
Are the metal cans ready for a spray gun?
Yes. Each 1L metal can is intended for use with a compatible anti-rust spray gun connected to an air compressor.

An air compressor is required when applying the coating with a pneumatic anti-rust spray gun. A brush or roller may be used where suitable.
Can NHOU® Black be applied over existing rust?
It can be applied to suitable rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare the surface before application.
Is a primer required?
A separate primer is generally not required for standard oil-based rust-prevention applications on properly prepared metal.
Who is the six-can master box intended for?
It is particularly suitable for professional workshops, rustproofing centres, restoration specialists, fleet operators and users carrying out multiple or repeated applications.
Does the coating require maintenance?

Application Guide

How it goes on

Step 1 of 7

Prepare the surface

Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination.

Step 2 of 7

Mix thoroughly

Shake or stir the product before use to maintain an even consistency.

Step 3 of 7

Attach the spray gun

Connect a compatible anti-rust spray gun securely to the metal can and use with a suitable air compressor.

Step 4 of 7

Apply evenly

Adjust the equipment for controlled coverage and apply the coating evenly to the required areas.

Step 5 of 7

Treat critical areas

Pay particular attention to seams, joints, overlaps, chassis sections, wheel arches and corrosion-prone components.

Step 6 of 7

Protect surrounding parts

Avoid application on brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components and other areas where an oil coating is unsuitable.

Step 7 of 7

Inspect regularly

Check treated surfaces as part of the normal maintenance schedule and reapply where required.
