What is included in the set?
The set contains one 1-litre metal can of NHOU® Clear and one 1-litre metal can of NHOU® Black.
What is the difference between NHOU® Clear and NHOU® Black?
NHOU® Clear provides transparent corrosion protection where the original appearance should remain visible. NHOU® Black leaves a black protective finish and is commonly selected for chassis, underbody and wheel-arch applications.
Are the metal cans ready for a spray gun?
Yes. Both metal cans are intended for use with a compatible anti-rust spray gun connected to an air compressor.
Is an air compressor required?
An air compressor is required when applying the products with a pneumatic anti-rust spray gun. A brush or roller may be used where suitable.
Can the coatings be applied over existing rust?
They can be applied to suitable rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare each surface before application.
Is this set suitable for a complete vehicle?
The set is suitable for targeted or partial vehicle treatment. The quantity required for a complete vehicle depends on its size, condition, application method and desired coating thickness.
Does the coating require maintenance?
Treated surfaces should be inspected periodically and the coating renewed where wear, washing or demanding operating conditions have reduced protection.

How it goes on

Plan the treatment

Identify which areas require transparent protection and which areas are better suited to a black finish.

Step 2 of 7

Prepare the surfaces

Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination.

Step 3 of 7

Mix thoroughly

Shake or stir each product before use to maintain an even consistency.

Step 4 of 7

Attach the spray gun

Connect a compatible anti-rust spray gun securely to the selected metal can and use with a suitable air compressor.

Apply NHOU® Clear

Treat cavities, seams, joints and visible areas where the original appearance should remain visible.

Apply NHOU® Black
