Questions

What is included in the set?
The set includes one 1-litre can of NHOU® Black, one 5-litre container of NHOU® Black and one VIGOR compressed-air underbody gun with a flexible cavity hose.
Is an air compressor included?
No. A compatible air compressor and suitable air hose are required separately.
Can the 1L can attach directly to the VIGOR gun?
The gun is designed for compatible 1L underbody-coating containers. Confirm the thread and container compatibility before assembly.
Can the 5L container attach directly to the spray gun?
No. The 5L container is not intended to attach directly to a standard 1L underbody gun. Use suitable refillable equipment or transfer the product according to the application-equipment instructions.
What is the flexible hose used for?
The hose is used to distribute coating inside accessible cavities, hollow chassis sections, seams and other difficult-to-reach areas.
Can NHOU® Black be applied over existing rust?
It can be applied to suitable rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare the surface before application.
Is a primer required?
A separate primer is generally not required for standard oil-based corrosion-prevention applications on properly prepared metal.
Is six litres enough for a complete vehicle?
Six litres may be sufficient for substantial or complete treatment depending on vehicle size, condition, application method, treated areas and required coating thickness.
Is the set suitable for beginners?
The set is intended for professional and experienced DIY use. Users should understand compressed-air equipment, masking, surface preparation and safe coating application.
Does the coating require maintenance?
Treated surfaces should be inspected periodically and the coating renewed where wear, washing or demanding operating conditions have reduced protection.

Application Guide

How it goes on

Step 1 of 9

Inspect the vehicle

Identify exposed areas, seams and accessible cavities requiring corrosion protection.

Step 2 of 9

Prepare the surfaces

Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination.

Step 3 of 9

Protect surrounding parts

Mask brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components, drive belts and areas where an oil coating is unsuitable.

Step 4 of 9

Prepare the coating

Shake or stir NHOU® Black thoroughly before application.

Step 5 of 9

Connect the equipment

Attach the compatible 1L can or suitable application container to the VIGOR gun and connect the gun to an appropriate compressed-air supply.

Apply to exposed surfaces

Spray the underbody, chassis, wheel arches and metal components using smooth, controlled passes.

Treat accessible cavities

Install the flexible hose and apply coating inside suitable hollow sections, seams and enclosed areas.

Clean the equipment

Follow the VIGOR gun cleaning and maintenance instructions immediately after use.
