Does the set require a compressor or spray gun?
No. The included aerosol cans are ready for direct use, and the reusable handle provides trigger-style spray control without additional equipment.
What is the spray handle used for?
The handle improves grip and comfort while allowing the aerosol valve to be operated using a trigger rather than direct finger pressure.
Can the handle be reused?
Yes. Remove the handle carefully after use and retain it for future compatible aerosol applications.
Can NHOU® Black be applied over existing rust?
It can be applied to rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare the surface before application.
Is a primer required?
A separate primer is generally not required for standard oil-based rust-prevention applications on properly prepared metal.
What is this three-can set best suited for?

What is the difference between NHOU® Black and NHOU® Clear?

Does the coating require maintenance?
Treated surfaces should be inspected periodically and the coating renewed where wear, washing or demanding operating conditions have reduced protection.

Application Guide

How it goes on

Step 1 of 6

Prepare the surface

Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination.

Step 2 of 6

Shake thoroughly

Shake the aerosol can well before use and periodically during application.

Step 3 of 6

Attach the handle

Secure the reusable spray handle to the aerosol can and check that the trigger operates the spray button correctly.

Step 4 of 6

Spray evenly

Hold the can approximately 15–20 cm from the surface and apply using smooth, overlapping passes.

Step 5 of 6

Treat critical areas

Pay particular attention to seams, joints, overlaps, wheel arches and corrosion-prone sections.

Step 6 of 6

Inspect regularly

Check treated surfaces as part of the normal maintenance schedule and reapply where required.
