OPTICUM OMS 5/12 PRO TRQ PLATINIUM Multiswitch This multiswitch is designed for use in antenna installations for DVB-S2 satellite TV and DVB-T2 terrestrial TV systems.Gold-plated connectors significantly reduce signal loss at the antenna cable connections and prevent oxidation. The multiswitch automatically detects the type of signal to be transmitted to the tuners. The installation must include connecting the multiswitch to a satellite dish with a diameter of at least 0.8 m, a Quattro or Quad converter, and a terrestrial TV antenna. The satellite and terrestrial signals exiting the multiswitch are split via subscriber outlets. The multiswitch is powered by an external power supply, which eliminates the problem of excessive operating temperatures—a common cause of device failure.
