How to use the breathalyzer: SRART Power button—Press and hold to turn the device on or off LOW BATTERY When the battery level is low, the flashing display will turn off after about 3 seconds.When the battery is completely depleted, the display will light up briefly, and the power will turn off. STARTUP After turning on the breathalyzer, the device will emit a short beep and begin a 10-second countdown (this is the time it takes for the device to prepare for the measurement). STARTING THE TEST After 10 seconds, the device will automatically begin a 6-second measurement; the result will be displayed immediately after the test. During the countdown, bring your mouth close to the front of the sensor (about 1 cm). Your exhalation should be continuous and at a steady rate. TEST FAILED If the message “Err” appears on the display, the test was invalid; repeat the test by blowing more carefully. PASSED TEST (RESULTS DISPLAY) If the measurement is successful, the display will show the alcohol concentration in your breath (mg/L and “not detected”) (Warning) (Danger) and the power will automatically turn off. CHECK THE INSTRUMENT’S LIFESPAN Sensor—Lifespan up to 1,000 tests. It can still be used after 1,000 measurements, but measurement accuracy will be reduced.
