Paint thickness gauge by Steinberg Systems is a tool necessary in the car trade and in the metal and chemical industries. The tester will measure the paint coating offerromagnetic and non-magnetizing materials. The precision of the measurements is ±2% + 1 μm. LCDpanel with backlight function. The result can be saved in memory for up to 2000 results. The measurement range is0-2000 μm. The paint meter works in 2 modes: withferromagnetsusingmagneticinduction, and with other materials usingeddy current. The minimum measuring surface isØ20 mm. The minimum radius of curvature for convex surfaces is 5 mm, for concave surfaces 25 mm. The whole set is inthecase. To connect the equipment to the computer, simply use a USB cable. Powered by2 x AAAbatteries. The equipment shows reliable results in the temperature range of 0 ~ 50deg C and humidity between 20 and 90%.
