Questions

What is included in the bundle?
The bundle includes ten 400ml NHOU® Black aerosols, two 400ml NHOU® Clear aerosols, an extension hose, spray handle, safety goggles, work gloves, detailing brush and microfibre cloth.
Does the bundle require an air compressor?
No. All twelve coatings are supplied in ready-to-use aerosol cans and do not require pneumatic application equipment.
Why are ten Black and two Clear cans included?
Larger underbody, chassis and wheel-arch areas generally require more black coating, while clear coating is typically used in selected cavities, seams and visible areas.
What is the difference between NHOU® Black and NHOU® Clear?
NHOU® Black leaves a black protective finish and is commonly selected for underbody and chassis areas. NHOU® Clear provides transparent protection where the original appearance should remain visible.
What is the extension hose used for?
The extension hose provides additional reach for applying coating inside suitable accessible cavities, seams and enclosed vehicle sections.
What is the spray handle used for?
The handle improves grip, comfort and spray control by allowing the aerosol valve to be operated with a trigger.
Can the coatings be applied over existing rust?
They can be applied to suitable rusted metal after loose rust, scale, grease, dirt and contamination have been removed. Inspect and prepare each surface before application.
Is the bundle suitable for a complete vehicle?
The 4.8-litre quantity may be suitable for substantial vehicle treatment depending on vehicle size, condition, treated areas and required coating thickness.
Are the accessories supplied as one piece each?
Yes. The bundle includes one unit of each listed accessory unless otherwise stated in the final order contents.
Does the coating require maintenance?

Use suitable gloves, eye protection, protective clothing and respiratory protection where required. Apply only with adequate ventilation.

Application Guide

How it goes on

Step 1 of 11

Inspect and plan

Identify exposed areas for NHOU® Black and cavities or visible sections better suited to NHOU® Clear.

Step 2 of 11

Prepare the surfaces

Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination using suitable tools and cleaning materials.

Step 3 of 11

Protect surrounding parts

Mask brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components, drive belts and areas where an oil coating is unsuitable.

Step 4 of 11

Wear protective equipment

Put on suitable gloves, eye protection and protective clothing before application.

Step 5 of 11

Shake thoroughly

Shake each aerosol can well before use and periodically during application.

Attach the handle

Fit the ergonomic handle to the selected aerosol can and verify that the trigger operates the valve correctly.

Apply NHOU® Clear

Treat accessible cavities, seams, joints and visible areas where transparent protection is preferred.

Apply NHOU® Black

Treat underbody, chassis, wheel-arch and exposed metal areas from approximately 15–20 cm using smooth, overlapping passes.

Use the extension hose

Attach the compatible hose when additional reach is required inside accessible enclosed sections.

Clean the work area

Remove masking materials carefully and wipe suitable surrounding areas using the included microfibre cloth.
