Application Guide
- Inspect and plan: Identify exposed areas for NHOU® Black and cavities or visible sections better suited to NHOU® Clear.
- Prepare the surfaces: Remove mud, dust, grease, loose rust, flaking material and other contamination using suitable tools and cleaning materials.
- Protect surrounding parts: Mask brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components, drive belts and areas where an oil coating is unsuitable.
- Wear protective equipment: Put on suitable gloves, eye protection and protective clothing before application.
- Shake thoroughly: Shake each aerosol can well before use and periodically during application.
- Attach the handle: Fit the ergonomic handle to the selected aerosol can and verify that the trigger operates the valve correctly.
- Apply NHOU® Clear: Treat accessible cavities, seams, joints and visible areas where transparent protection is preferred.
- Apply NHOU® Black: Treat underbody, chassis, wheel-arch and exposed metal areas from approximately 15–20 cm using smooth, overlapping passes.
- Use the extension hose: Attach the compatible hose when additional reach is required inside accessible enclosed sections.
- Clean the work area: Remove masking materials carefully and wipe suitable surrounding areas using the included microfibre cloth.
- Inspect regularly: Check treated surfaces periodically and renew the coating where wear or demanding operating conditions have reduced protection.
