The Hillvert soil moisture sensor will be useful for monitoring its level so that the automatic irrigation system controller can stop watering when it is too wet. The device fits most irrigation controllers, especially Hillvert models with catalog numbers 10090184, 10090187 and 10090188. One of three soil moisture levels is set on the meter (25%, 45% and 60%). When its actual level is higher than the set level, the sensor sends a signal to the controller to turn off the irrigation cycle. The measurement is madeevery 60 s. The cable connecting to the controller is resistant to weather conditions. LEDlights make operation easier. The desired humidity level is selected by pressing the appropriate button, which is indicated by the LED lighting up.
