Professional Underbody and Cavity Application Tool
VIGOR Underbody Protection Gun with 500mm Flexible Cavity Hose
A compressed-air application gun for compatible 1L coating containers, supplied with a flexible 500mm hose for rustproofing hollow sections and difficult-to-reach vehicle areas.
The VIGOR Underbody Protection Gun is designed for controlled application of compatible rustproofing products, cavity waxes, underbody coatings and similar automotive protection materials.
The gun accepts compatible 1000ml coating containers and includes a 500mm flexible cavity hose with an application nozzle. This combination makes it suitable for both exposed underbody surfaces and accessible enclosed sections such as sills, frame rails, seams and chassis cavities.
Key Benefits
Underbody Application
Suitable for controlled application of compatible underbody coatings and rust-prevention materials.
500mm Flexible Hose
Provides extended reach inside accessible cavities, frame sections, rocker panels and other enclosed areas.
Compatible 1L Containers
Designed for suitable standard 1000ml coating cans with compatible threads and dimensions.
Integrated Air Coupler
The installed nominal-size 7.2 coupler plug supports quick connection to compatible workshop air systems.
Simple Setup
Attach a compatible container, connect the compressed-air supply and adjust the application through a test spray.
Workshop and DIY Use
Suitable for professional mechanics, rustproofing workshops, restorers and experienced private users.
What Is Included?
1 × VIGOR Gun
Compressed-air underbody protection gun for compatible 1000ml coating containers.
1 × 500mm Hose
Flexible cavity hose with nozzle for accessible hollow sections and enclosed vehicle areas.
Recommended Applications
The VIGOR gun is suitable for applying compatible automotive protection products to exposed surfaces and accessible enclosed sections.
- Vehicle underbodies
- Wheel arches and wheel wells
- Chassis and frame sections
- Crossmembers and brackets
- Rocker panels and sills
- Accessible vehicle cavities
- Frame rails
- Door and panel interiors
- Seams and enclosed sections
- Restoration and maintenance work
Flexible Cavity Application
The included 500mm flexible hose helps distribute compatible coating material inside enclosed sections that cannot be treated effectively with the standard gun outlet.
- Improved access through suitable service openings
- Useful for rocker panels and frame rails
- Flexible construction for routing around minor obstructions
- Supports controlled application while withdrawing the hose
- Suitable for compatible cavity waxes and rustproofing oils
Compatibility note: Not every 1000ml container has the same thread or dimensions. Confirm container compatibility before attaching and pressurising the gun.
Compressed-Air Requirements
The gun requires a regulated compressed-air supply. A suitable hose and adequate airflow are necessary for stable coating delivery and consistent application.
- Compatible air compressor required
- Integrated nominal-size 7.2 coupler plug
- Recommended air-hose internal diameter: approximately 10mm
- Use a pressure regulator and moisture separator where appropriate
- Confirm material-specific pressure requirements before use
Air-supply note: Compressor motor power alone does not determine suitability. Available airflow, operating pressure, tank capacity and duty cycle must support the selected coating and application method.

Setup and Application Guide
- Read the instructions: Review the gun instructions and coating manufacturer’s application requirements.
- Confirm compatibility: Check that the container thread, coating viscosity, nozzle and seals are suitable.
- Prepare the coating: Shake, stir or condition the material according to its label.
- Open the container: Remove the original closure and any transport seal.
- Insert the suction tube: Position the gun’s suction tube correctly inside the container.
- Attach securely: Tighten the compatible container to the gun and check that the connection is sealed.
- Connect the air supply: Attach the gun to a regulated compressor using a suitable air hose.
- Test the spray: Perform a test application to confirm pressure, material flow and spray pattern.
- Apply to exposed areas: Use smooth, controlled passes on underbody and chassis surfaces.
- Install the cavity hose: Use the flexible hose when treating suitable enclosed sections and withdraw it slowly during spraying.
- Depressurise safely: Disconnect the air supply and release stored pressure before removing the container.
- Clean immediately: Clean the gun, suction tube, outlet and cavity hose using a method approved for the applied material.
Application note: Protect brakes, friction surfaces, tyres, exhaust components, electrical connectors, belts and other areas where an oil or underbody coating is unsuitable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included with the gun?
The package includes the VIGOR compressed-air underbody gun and an approximately 500mm flexible cavity hose with nozzle.
Is an air compressor included?
No. A compatible regulated compressor and suitable air hose are required separately.
Does the gun fit every 1000ml container?
No universal compatibility can be guaranteed. Container dimensions and threads must match the gun before use.
What is the 500mm hose used for?
It helps apply compatible coating materials inside accessible rocker panels, frame rails, chassis cavities and other enclosed sections.
Can the gun be used without the flexible hose?
Yes. The standard gun outlet may be used for exposed underbody surfaces, while the hose is intended for accessible cavities.
Is it suitable for NHOU® 1L metal cans?
It may be used with compatible NHOU® 1L metal cans. Confirm the thread and container fit before attaching and pressurising.
Can a 5L container attach directly to the gun?
No. The gun is designed for compatible 1L containers. Larger containers require suitable refillable equipment or controlled product transfer.
What air hose should be used?
An air hose with approximately 10mm internal diameter is recommended, provided its pressure rating and connectors are suitable.
How should the gun be cleaned?
Depressurise the equipment, remove the container and clean all material-contact parts immediately using a method approved for the coating.
Is it suitable for beginners?
The gun is intended for professional and experienced DIY use. Operators should understand compressed-air safety, coating compatibility and vehicle masking.
Safety Information
Read the gun instructions and coating Safety Data Sheet before use. Wear suitable gloves, eye protection, protective clothing and respiratory protection where required. Never point the gun toward people or animals, and always disconnect and depressurise the system before cleaning, adjustment or disassembly.
Professional Underbody and Cavity Application
