Questions

What is included with the gun?
The package includes the VIGOR compressed-air underbody gun and an approximately 500mm flexible cavity hose with nozzle.
Is an air compressor included?
No. A compatible regulated compressor and suitable air hose are required separately.
Does the gun fit every 1000ml container?
No universal compatibility can be guaranteed. Container dimensions and threads must match the gun before use.
What is the 500mm hose used for?
It helps apply compatible coating materials inside accessible rocker panels, frame rails, chassis cavities and other enclosed sections.
Can the gun be used without the flexible hose?
Yes. The standard gun outlet may be used for exposed underbody surfaces, while the hose is intended for accessible cavities.
Is it suitable for NHOU® 1L metal cans?
It may be used with compatible NHOU® 1L metal cans. Confirm the thread and container fit before attaching and pressurising.
Can a 5L container attach directly to the gun?
No. The gun is designed for compatible 1L containers. Larger containers require suitable refillable equipment or controlled product transfer.
What air hose should be used?
An air hose with approximately 10mm internal diameter is recommended, provided its pressure rating and connectors are suitable.
How should the gun be cleaned?
Depressurise the equipment, remove the container and clean all material-contact parts immediately using a method approved for the coating.
Is it suitable for beginners?
The gun is intended for professional and experienced DIY use. Operators should understand compressed-air safety, coating compatibility and vehicle masking.

Application Guide

How it goes on

Step 1 of 12

Read the instructions

Review the gun instructions and coating manufacturer's application requirements.

Step 2 of 12

Confirm compatibility

Check that the container thread, coating viscosity, nozzle and seals are suitable.

Step 3 of 12

Prepare the coating

Shake, stir or condition the material according to its label.

Step 4 of 12

Open the container

Remove the original closure and any transport seal.

Step 5 of 12

Insert the suction tube

Position the gun's suction tube correctly inside the container.

Step 6 of 12

Attach securely

Tighten the compatible container to the gun and check that the connection is sealed.

Step 7 of 12

Connect the air supply

Attach the gun to a regulated compressor using a suitable air hose.

Step 8 of 12

Test the spray

Perform a test application to confirm pressure, material flow and spray pattern.

Step 9 of 12

Apply to exposed areas

Use smooth, controlled passes on underbody and chassis surfaces.

Step 10 of 12

Install the cavity hose

Use the flexible hose when treating suitable enclosed sections and withdraw it slowly during spraying.

Step 11 of 12

Depressurise safely

Disconnect the air supply and release stored pressure before removing the container.

Step 12 of 12

Clean immediately

Clean the gun, suction tube, outlet and cavity hose using a method approved for the applied material.
